Dr. Phan grew up in San Jose, California — a Bay Area native with a strong connection to the communities Smile Craft Dental serves. She holds a dual undergraduate degree in Cognitive Science and Biology from UC Santa Cruz, and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2023. She went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of the Pacific, where she developed a strong foundation in both cosmetic procedures and anxiety management.
Dr. Phan is a member of the California Dental Association (CDA), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the Santa Clara Dental Society. Her approach to care is built on trust, open communication, and truly informed treatment — she makes sure patients feel comfortable and heard while personalizing care to their individual needs. For patients who feel nervous, she creates a calm, personalized dental experience through compassionate care and clear communication.
She has given back through several meaningful community programs including UCSF Give Kids a Smile, Autism Smiles, and the Delta Veterans Group — bringing accessible dental care to children, individuals with autism, and veterans.
Outside the office, Dr. Phan enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dog, and loves reading, cooking, and traveling. Dr. Phan speaks English.
