|COVID-19 Safety Measures
To Our Patients:
We hope that you and your family are in good health and doing well given the current pandemic. We just want to reassure all of our patients that even though many things have changed, our commitment to your wellbeing and safety is paramount. To that end, we have implemented infection control protocols recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), and Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA).
When you visit our office, you may notice some changes. We ask all our patients to arrive with a mask on and keep it on until we tell you to remove it. Please wait outside so we can take a temperature and oxidation reading before we bring you in. We have closed our waiting room and are trying to limit the number of patients we have in the office. Any accompanying adult would be limited to a guardian. Before the start of your appointment, we ask all our patients to wash their hands and use an antimicrobial mouth rinse which has been clinically proven to kill the COVID-19 virus present in the mouth for up to an hour.
To ensure your safety and ours, we've also acquired an electrostatic fogger that uses hypochlorous acid that is able to kill viruses on contact in the air and on surfaces. All of our providers wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including surgical gowns, masks, gloves, face shields, and head coverings.
We will ask all of our patients to complete a form with some prescreening questions. If you feel sick or have any upper respiratory symptoms or believe you have a fever, please let us know. We ask that we reschedule your appointment and encourage you to see your medical doctor.
If you have any questions about our procedures and protocols, please don't hesitate to contact us. We look forward to seeing you again!
